Less than 24 hours prior to the start of my Antelope Canyon 55k, I continue the adventures that can be found around Page, AZ.
Later, I will be writing a Trail Reports on our Ultra-Adventure Trifecta adventures (successes and fails) with some handy information for those who want to attempt to get 10% off their next entry into a UA race.
But, for now, a 2.5hour and 3 mile scramble to an old rope trail through the desert is the final activity before today’s checkin and interviews.
Am I nervous? You betcha. You see, there seems to be some sand here. And not the nice, hard sand of Las Vegas. Oh no, the middle-of-the-desert sand-dune sand.
This is going to be interesting.[pe2-image src=”http://lh5.ggpht.com/–D_o_g1vOPU/VOexgvl_D5I/AAAAAAAA6J8/7LF2mQ0BYlo/s144-c-o/20150220_120057_916.jpg” href=”https://picasaweb.google.com/107115638528262904267/2015022002?authkey=KiC1_wwHo0M#6118053794895826834″ caption=”Rope Trail #throughglass” type=”image” alt=”20150220_120057_916.jpg” ]
